Hello Kindergarten Families,

It was great to see all of you and your amazing children at Open House last Thursday.  The children worked extremely hard on their ocean projects, art portfolios, writing journals, and cloud books. I hope you had some time to look over your child's wonderful wow work!

I will be wrapping up Centers on Monday, May 15th. I want to thank all of the volunteers who helped our class in and out of the classroom this year. I truly couldn't have done it without all of your support.  Thank you for faithfulness and dedicating your very valuable time and effort to our Kindergarten class!  THANK YOU!

For the next month of school, we will be creating end of the year projects including a Kindergarten Memory Book, Growing Up Book, graduation hat, and seagull. Report cards will be handed out on the last day of school.

Please take a look at the reminders below and add them to your calendar if they pertain to your family.

Our Kindergarten SPECTRA Arts performance  will be held on June 2nd in the MPR at  10:45 where all kindergarteners will sing with Bob Reid. Our promotion ceremony will follow shortly after the Bob Reid concert at 11:40-12:15 in Room 17.

REMINDERS FOR RIO DEL MAR FAMILIES:

* Last Day for Homework Club: May 23th

* Wednesday, May 31st  End of the Year Party for all Kinders at 9:30. Party will be held at Rio Park.

*  Friday, June 2nd:  Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony at 11:40 in the classroom  for PM Kinders. Bob Reid Performance 9:45-11:15 in MPR.

* Last Day of School: June 9th

I want to thank everyone for remembering my birthday in such a spectacular way! Thank you for the birthday celebration! I really appreciated the beautiful cards, flowers, delicious cookies, and gifts. You made me feel special and loved. I'm overwhelm by your kindness and generosity. You all are such an incredible community of parents and children!!!
